Chipotle’s Newest Hack: Groupotle Makes Group Orders Easy

Chipotle just rolled out a brand-new way to feed your crew. Starting August 26, the chain is debuting Build-Your-Own Chipotle, a digital-only menu option that’s designed to feed four to six hungry people, no advance planning required. Forget stressing over dinner plans!

Think of it like bringing the Chipotle makeline straight into your kitchen. With big portions of rice, beans, protein, toppings, salsa, guac (yes, it’s included), plus chips and tortillas, everyone gets to build their own perfect meal, minus the drama of picking just one order.

What’s in the box?

Every Build-Your-Own Chipotle order comes stacked with:

  • Your choice of protein (chicken, steak, carnitas, barbacoa, or Sofritas)
  • Rice (white or brown) and beans (black or pinto)
  • Guac or Queso Blanco as a premium side
  • Three fresh salsas or toppings
  • Cheese, lettuce, soft tortillas, and TWO big bags of chips
    Basically, it’s a full-blown fiesta in one order.

Here’s the best part: it’s totally DIY. Some will build tacos, others might pile on nachos, and that one friend who swears by extra salsa can finally live their best life. Build-Your-Own Chipotle makes food fun again, while letting everyone stick to their preferences.

No catering forms. No week-ahead planning. Just hop on the Chipotle app or Chipotle.com, place your BYOC order, and you can pick it up in as little as 15 minutes. That’s faster than getting your crew to agree on one Netflix show. Chipotle’s fresh ideas never stop rolling!

Chipotle is keeping things simple: BYOC is available only through the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com. Think of it as a secret menu item for anyone who’s smart enough to skip the group text meltdown over dinner.

To sweeten the deal, Chipotle is giving fans $10 off their first BYOC order with code TRYBYOC. The offer runs from August 26 through October 21, or until 500,000 orders are redeemed. That’s a lot of guac-covered smiles.

If you’re feeding more than six, don’t worry, Chipotle still offers full catering for groups of 10+. Or, use the Group Order feature in the app, where everyone can pick their own meal but it’s bundled as one pick-up or delivery. It’s BYOC’s bigger cousin.
