Cup Noodles and Top Ramen Are Starting a Ramen Rebellion This National Noodle Day

Move over, pasta, there’s a new noodle in charge. This National Noodle Day, Cup Noodles and Top Ramen are declaring a full-blown Ramen Rebellion, calling on fans everywhere to reclaim the holiday from Big Pasta’s grip.

The ramen rebellion begins

On October 6, ramen lovers across the nation are rallying behind Cup Noodles and Top Ramen to give this holiday a much-needed flavor upgrade. The mission? Make National Noodle Day all about ramen, not rigatoni.

Nissin Foods, the legendary company behind both brands, is turning the streets of New York City and Chicago into the ultimate battleground. Their goal: to challenge the pasta elite right on their home turf. From Olive Garden to Barilla HQ, the Ramen Rebellion is bringing steam, spice, and spirit.

Big pasta, meet your match

Forget slow-boiled linguine. Ramen is fast, flavorful, and endlessly creative, everything pasta wishes it could be. Cup Noodles’ official mascot even crashed the gates of Eataly, handing out free noodles and rallying supporters to join the fun.

“Pasta has had its time as the center of attention on National Noodle Day and we feel it’s beyond time for a new ‘face’ of the day. We want ramen fans to step up and claim what is rightfully theirs. Ramen noodles that come in a variety of flavors and are not bound to rigid tradition. Ramen noodles that are ready whenever and wherever they are. Join the noodle uprising

Ready to join the rebellion? Cup Noodles and Top Ramen are inviting fans to sign the “Justice for Ramen” petition, demanding that National Noodle Day finally honor the real MVP of noodles.

Fans can also show their ramen pride online by tagging @originaltopramen and @originalcupnoodles on Instagram and TikTok. Expect fun challenges, memes, and maybe even a few pasta jokes along the way.
