Pringles Brings the Heat, the Sweet, and the Smoky

Pringles flavor lineup stacked in colorful cans

Pringles is on a roll, literally. This September, the iconic can of crisps is getting a bold makeover with six new flavors that are smoky, salty, and even a little sweet. From a whole new Smoky lineup to the return of sweet snacking with Cinnamon & Sugar, there’s a can for every craving.

The new Pringles Smoky collection is where classic flavors get a wood-fired twist. Think crispy chips kissed with bacon, BBQ, and cheddar, all layered with smoky depth. Smoky Bacon delivers hickory heat, Smoky Mesquite BBQ adds tangy-sweet fire, and Smoky Cheddar blends creamy cheese with applewood smoke. These flavors aren’t messing around.

Sharp, bold, and cheesy

Cheese lovers, this one’s for you. Pringles Sharp White Cheddar is bold, nutty, and slightly tangy, basically like eating a perfectly aged block of cheddar, but in crisp form. It’s the kind of snack that makes you say, “Why didn’t this exist sooner?”

Pringles Mingles are puffed, poppable snacks designed for sharing or keeping all to yourself. For the first time since 2016, Pringles is going sweet again with Mingles Cinnamon & Sugar. Think churro vibes, cozy holiday energy, and just the right amount of sweetness. Then there’s Mingles Jalapeño & Queso, which balances creamy cheese with a spicy kick. Sweet, savory, spicy, Mingles are officially bringing balance to the snack aisle.

A chef’s kiss collab

To celebrate the Smoky lineup, Pringles teamed up with NYC’s Chef Calvin Eng of Bonnie’s. He created a one-of-a-kind dish called Smoky Mesquite BBQ Bok Gop—crispy squab marinated with Pringles Smoky Mesquite BBQ and five spice salt. Garnished with the new crisps, it’s a fusion of nostalgic Cantonese flavors and snack innovation. For Pringles fans in New York, this is the ultimate first bite.

Snack culture thrives on surprise drops, and Pringles knows it. These launches don’t just add variety to the shelf, they spark social buzz. TikTok reviews, flavor rankings, and wild recipe hacks are already heating up. Whether it’s crushing Smoky Bacon crisps onto a burger or using Cinnamon & Sugar Mingles as a dessert topper, the internet is ready to remix.

Innovation never sleeps

Limited-time launches like these bring excitement to the snack aisle. That means more shoppers browsing, grabbing extra cans, and coming back for seconds. For retailers, Pringles’ lineup is a golden opportunity to drive sales, especially as seasonal shopping kicks in this fall.

One thing is clear: Pringles refuses to get boring. Their flavor experiments push boundaries, whether it’s bold cheese, spicy heat, or dessert-inspired snacks. By leaning into smoky flavors and sweet-salty mashups, Pringles is showing other CPG brands how to keep fans hooked.

This launch is bigger than chips, it’s a case study in brand evolution. Pringles proves that listening to fans, surprising them with collabs, and offering limited-time flavors creates energy that drives repeat purchases. Nostalgia, innovation, and scarcity are a winning recipe every brand can learn from.

What’s New

From Bold Flavors to Big Stages While Pringles continues to push the envelope with complex flavor profiles like smoky and sweet, the brand is also gearing up for its biggest night of the year in advertising. Pringles just confirmed its return to the Super Bowl with a spot featuring pop icon Sabrina Carpenter. To see how she is bringing a new twist to the “Once You Pop” slogan, read our full report on the Pringles 2026 Super Bowl Commercial: Sabrina Carpenter & Pringleleo.

Ready to pop?

Starting this September, the new Pringles Smoky lineup, Sharp White Cheddar, and Mingles flavors will hit shelves nationwide. And if you’re in New York, Chef Eng’s exclusive dish is waiting at Bonnie’s. From smoky and savory to sweet and spicy, Pringles has made sure there’s no wrong way to pop open your next can.
