Einstein Bros. Bagels is challenging traditional Valentine’s Day gifting norms with a savory alternative designed to appeal to those who might feel left out of the floral festivities. Citing research that reveals 88% of men have never received flowers, the national bagel chain announced on Friday, February 6, 2026, the launch of “Bro-Quets”—edible bouquets made from heart-shaped bagels.

The campaign encourages customers to think outside the traditional chocolate-and-roses box by offering a DIY solution that transforms a standard Baker’s Dozen into a shareable gift for partners, friends, or colleagues.

The Concept: “Bro-Quets”

Unlike a pre-assembled product, the “Bro-Quet” is a creative concept that customers can build themselves using Einstein Bros.’ limited-edition Heart Bagels. The company has released a step-by-step tutorial showing fans how to arrange their bagels into a bouquet-style presentation.

“Valentine’s Day shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all, and neither should the gifts we give,” said Jessica Serrano, Chief Marketing Officer at Einstein Bros. Bagels. “When we learned that only 12% of men have ever received flowers, we knew we had an opportunity to do something different.”

To build a Bro-Quet, customers will need to purchase the Heart Bagels, which are available in three classic flavors: Plain, Chocolate Chip, and Cinnamon Raisin.

  • Preorders: Starting February 9, guests can preorder Heart Bagels by the Baker’s Dozen via the brand’s catering website for pickup or delivery between February 10-14.
  • In-Store: Individual Heart Bagels and Baker’s Dozens will be available for purchase in-store on February 13 and 14 while supplies last.
  • Pricing: A Baker’s Dozen starts at $15.89, while individual Heart Bagels start at $2.39.
