PARK CITY, Utah — Kodiak, the brand that revolutionized the pancake mix aisle with its protein-packed whole grains, is taking on a new morning ritual. On Tuesday, January 20, 2026, the company announced its entry into the refrigerated convenience category with the launch of Kodiak Overnight Oats.
This new product line marks a significant expansion for the Park City-based brand, targeting the growing demand for functional, “no-cook” breakfast options. True to Kodiak’s heritage, the oats are designed to be a nutritional powerhouse, packing 20 grams of protein per serving alongside a blend of 100% whole grain oats, chia seeds, flax, and quinoa.
Flavors & Features
The launch features three core indulgent flavors, plus a retailer exclusive:
- Maple Pecan
- Dark Chocolate Sea Salt
- Cookie Butter
- Peach (Walmart Exclusive)
Each single-serving pouch is designed for ease: consumers simply pour the contents into a jar or container, add their preferred milk, and let it chill overnight. The result is a ready-to-eat meal with less than 10g of sugar and a hearty texture.
Sonali Dalvi, VP and Head of R&D at Kodiak, explained the strategy:
“We are so thrilled to expand into the Overnight Oats category as demand continues to grow for functional, convenient, and better-for-you breakfast options… At Kodiak, we’re committed to fueling mornings in a way that feels authentic to who we are, using wholesome, real ingredients to create protein-packed products designed to power any adventure.”

Sustainability & Availability
In a move to address packaging concerns, Kodiak has partnered with 4ocean to make the Overnight Oats pouches Plastic Neutral Certified. For every pound of plastic used in the packaging, 4ocean will remove an equivalent weight of plastic from the world’s oceans and coastlines.
The pouches are available now at major retailers including Target, Kroger, and Walmart for a suggested retail price of $3.79. A 12-count variety pack is scheduled to hit Amazon in February, with a “Honey Oat & Almond” flavor slated for release later this year.
