LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Natural Grocers is celebrating the 10th anniversary of more than 20 store locations across the U.S. The celebration includes a week-long promotional campaign running from May 17 through May 23, 2026.
The retailer said the campaign applies to 23 stores across 12 states. Those locations originally opened in 2016. Special deals will be available for members of the company’s {N}power® loyalty program.
Customers participating in the promotion will receive discounts on organic groceries, supplements, sparkling water, coconut milk, turkey sticks, and other natural food products.
The campaign also includes a surprise digital coupon. The coupon will be distributed through the company’s mobile app and email platform.
According to Raquel Isely, the anniversary reflects the company’s long-term community-focused strategy and commitment to affordable natural foods.
“My grandparents founded Natural Grocers in 1955 by going door to door to share nutrition education, supplements, and wholesome food,” Isely said in a statement announcing the campaign. She added that the company views the anniversary as “a meaningful milestone” tied to customer trust and community engagement.
Consumers can enroll in the retailer’s loyalty platform for free through the company’s website or mobile app. The promotional offers run through May 30, 2026, with some discounts reaching up to 22% off select products.
Anniversary deals focus on organic and natural grocery categories

Natural Grocers operates approximately 170 stores across 21 states and specializes in organic produce, supplements, body care products, and natural grocery items.
The company said its stores continue to follow internal ingredient and sourcing standards that prohibit artificial flavors, synthetic colors, hydrogenated oils, and several preservatives commonly found in conventional grocery products.
Why it matters
Natural Grocers’ anniversary campaign reflects several broader trends shaping the CPG and grocery industries. These trends include loyalty-driven pricing, community-based retail branding, and continued consumer demand for organic and natural products.
Retailers across the grocery sector are increasingly relying on app-based memberships and personalized promotions. Companies are using these strategies to retain shoppers amid inflationary pressure and heightened competition from mass retailers and warehouse clubs.
The campaign also highlights how regional and specialty grocers are using milestone anniversaries and community-focused messaging to strengthen brand loyalty. These efforts also help smaller chains differentiate themselves from larger national retailers.
Consumers continue prioritizing ingredient transparency, organic sourcing, and wellness-oriented products. As a result, natural grocery retailers remain an influential segment within the broader CPG landscape.
Editor’s note: Source86 perspective
For food manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, and private label brands, Natural Grocers’ anniversary campaign highlights the ongoing importance of transparency, wellness positioning, and customer loyalty in today’s grocery environment.
Organic grocery retailers continue to influence purchasing behavior across supplements, beverages, pantry staples, and better-for-you snack categories. Brands that can align with clean-label expectations while maintaining affordability are increasingly positioned for long-term growth.
At Source86, we help brands navigate ingredient sourcing, private label development, and co-manufacturing partnerships across the CPG sector. We also support FSQA oversight and supply chain strategy.
As retailers expand loyalty-driven promotions and natural product assortments, operational consistency remains critical. Retail readiness is also increasingly important for suppliers competing in the modern grocery landscape. Let’s talk.
