MOONACHIE, N.J. — Winter indulgence just got a savory twist. On Wednesday, January 7, 2026, Paris Baguette unveiled its first major seasonal menu of the year, pivoting away from traditional winter spices to embrace a trending flavor combination: Salted Caramel Pretzel.

Available nationwide through March 3, 2026, the new lineup features seven dedicated menu items that balance rich caramel sweetness with the crunch and saltiness of pretzels. The launch also includes savory additions and a limited-time “Game Day” collection for the upcoming football playoffs.

The Salted Caramel Pretzel Collection

Paris Baguette is betting big on texture this season. The new pastry items are designed to offer a “crunch” factor that contrasts with soft doughs and creams.

  • Salted Caramel Pretzel Croissant Crisp: A flattened, crispy croissant pressed to perfection, coated in salted caramel and topped with pretzel pieces.
  • Salted Caramel Pretzel Supreme Croissant: A round croissant filled with pastry cream, topped with salted caramel glaze and pretzel bits.
  • King Cream Donut: The brand’s signature donut gets a winter makeover, filled with custard cream and dipped in salted caramel with a pretzel topping.
  • Beverages: The flavor profile extends to the coffee bar with a Salted Caramel Pretzel Latte (hot or iced), Cold Brew, and a unique Matcha Latte variation.

Cathy Chavenet, Chief Marketing Officer at Paris Baguette North America, emphasized the comfort-food angle in the press release.

Chavenet stated, “As we step into the new year, we’re bringing the coziness of the season to our guests with a new sweet-and-salty lineup… These handcrafted pastries and beverages are designed to bring indulgence and warmth to winter days.”

Savory & Game Day Additions

Beyond the sweets, the bakery is expanding its lunch options with a classic Quiche Lorraine (bacon, egg, cheese) and a Sourdough Tuna Melt Sandwich.

With the Super Bowl on the horizon, the chain also introduced football-themed treats available through February 8. This includes a King Cream Football Donut decorated with chocolate laces and a Triple Chocolate Football Cream Cake for watch parties.

Deals to Watch

Paris Baguette is supporting the launch with a series of aggressive promotions for PB Rewards members:

  • Jan 30 (National Croissant Day): Free plain croissant with any purchase.
  • Feb 9 (“The Big Game” Recovery): Free medium hot or iced coffee with any pastry purchase on the Monday following the Super Bowl.

Why It Matters

For CPG and QSR analysts, this launch highlights a shift away from “New Year Resolution” restrictions. Instead of focusing on low-calorie options, Paris Baguette is leaning into “permissible indulgence”—offering rich, comfort-food flavors like salted caramel and melted cheese to combat the post-holiday blues. The addition of the “Croissant Crisp” also points to the continued popularity of “flattened” or “smashed” croissant trends that dominated social media in late 2025. Contact Us!
