SpartanNash Foundation has outdone itself, raising an astounding $565,000 to fight hunger across the Midwest. That’s over 204,000 meals delivered, thanks to the kindness of customers, employees, and community partners. From heartfelt checkout donations to corporate generosity, this fundraiser proves that a little teamwork and a lot of love can make a massive difference for families in need.

Breaking records and filling plates

  • SpartanNash’s annual fundraiser ran from October 25 to November 27, 2024, across their Family Fare, Martin’s Super Markets, and D&W Fresh Market stores.
  • Shoppers and employees raised nearly $480,000 just by rounding up at checkout or donating online.
  • SpartanNash added a cherry on top—a whopping $85,000—bringing the total to $565,000!
  • The funds will provide food pantries in nine states with over 204,000 meals just in time for the holiday season.
