Wendy’s declares November 15 as first-ever Frosty Day holiday

DUBLIN, OH (November 12, 2025) Wendy’s has declared November 15 as the first-ever worldwide Frosty Day. This is a new annual celebration for the frozen dessert. According to the company, the date marks the anniversary of the first Wendy’s restaurant opening in 1969.

The chain is launching a new Snickerdoodle Cookie Frosty Fusion to celebrate. The limited-time product is now available at U.S. restaurants. It features Vanilla Frosty blended with cinnamon snickerdoodle sauce and cookie crumbles.

Wendy’s picked November 15 for Frosty Day. This is the same date the first Wendy’s opened in 1969. The company said this connects the celebration to its founding history.

The new Snickerdoodle Cookie Frosty Fusion is available now for a limited time at participating U.S. locations. The product starts with Vanilla Frosty. It adds cinnamon snickerdoodle sauce. Then it’s topped with cookie crumbles.

So it’s only fitting that we officially claimed November 15 as Frosty Day, a new tradition dedicated to our loyal customers and Frosty fans.”

The Frosty was one of five original menu items founder Dave Thomas created in 1969. Wendy’s introduced Frosty Swirls and Frosty Fusions earlier in 2025. These new formats extend the product line beyond the classic frozen dessert.
