Ferrara Converts Entire Black Forest Gummy Lineup to USDA Certified Organic

Ferrara Candy Company announced on March 18, 2026 that its entire everyday Black Forest gummy candy lineup is now USDA Certified Organic and available nationwide. The conversion covers both existing Gummy Bears and a newly debuted format, the Gummy Forest Friends, marking the largest formulation overhaul in the Black Forest brand’s history.

According to Ferrara’s announcement, both products are also Certified Gluten Free, fat-free, made with no artificial colors, and use flavors from real sources. The new all-organic portfolio is rolling out at major retailers including Target, Costco, Publix, and Kroger in sizes ranging from 4.5 ounces to 65-count treat pouches.

Ferrara is a Ferrero-affiliated company with over 115 years of confectionery history. The company produces approximately 800 million pounds of candy annually and sells products in more than 60 countries through a portfolio of 40 or more brands enjoyed by over 91 million U.S. households.


What Changed: A Full Portfolio Conversion, Not a Line Extension
