Perfect Snacks Launches Protein + Prebiotics Bar With 20g Protein, No Artificial Ingredients

SAN DIEGO — Perfect Snacks has introduced a new refrigerated protein bar called Protein + Prebiotics. The bar contains 20 grams of protein and includes prebiotic fiber. The company makes the bar without artificial sweeteners, sugar alcohols, flavors, colors, or preservatives. Perfect Snacks announced the product on March 24. The brand positions it to meet growing consumer demand for high-protein snacks with simple ingredient lists. The formulation includes grass-fed whey protein and peanut butter. It also features more than 20 plant-based ingredients.

The new bar is currently available through the brand’s website, Amazon, and TikTok Shop. It plans to expand retail distribution later in 2026, including availability at Whole Foods Market.

Perfect Snacks continues to expand its refrigerated product portfolio, a category it helped popularize with its Original Refrigerated Protein Bar.

Product details and ingredients

Protein + Prebiotics is available in two flavors:

  • Peanut Butter Chocolate Crunch
  • Chocolate Mint Crunch

Both varieties include quinoa crisps, organic honey as a sweetener, and are labeled gluten-free, non-GMO, and kosher.

The formulation combines protein sources such as grass-fed whey and nut butter with prebiotic fiber designed to support digestive health: an increasingly prominent focus in functional snacking.

According to Perfect Snacks CEO Cara Liebrock, the product aims to address a perceived gap in the category.

Liebrock explained that the company developed the bar to make a clear point. High-protein bars can be made with simple, recognizable ingredients.

She added that more consumers are prioritizing nutrition. They are also paying closer attention to ingredient transparency in their daily routines.

Olympic rugby player Ilona Maher partnered with the brand. She emphasized the product’s convenience and nutritional balance.

Maher described it as a “grab-and-go option.” She said it aligns with performance-focused diets.
