Taco Bell is bringing a classic flavor profile into its popular “Street Chalupa” format. On Thursday, February 19, 2026, the fast-food giant announced the launch of the Chicken Bacon Ranch Street Chalupas, rolling out to participating nationwide menus for a limited time.

The launch also includes a spinoff of the flavor combo, pairing the new ingredients with the brand’s iconic Nacho Fries.

The Menu: Street-Style Nostalgia

The Street Chalupa format, which debuted as a massive hit for the brand, features smaller, toasted cheddar chalupa shells sold in pairs. This marks the third flavor iteration of the Street Chalupa lineup.

  • Chicken Bacon Ranch Street Chalupas ($5.99): Two toasted cheddar Street Chalupa shells filled with slow-roasted chicken, crispy bacon, freshly prepared daily pico de gallo, shredded cheddar cheese, and Taco Bell’s creamy Avocado Ranch Sauce.
  • Chicken Bacon Ranch Nacho Fries ($4.99): The brand’s signature seasoned golden fries topped with slow-roasted chicken, bacon, warm nacho cheese sauce, Avocado Ranch Sauce, and pico de gallo.
  • The $9 Discovery Luxe Box: For those looking for a full meal, this combo box includes the two-pack of Chicken Bacon Ranch Street Chalupas, a Cheesy Bean & Rice Burrito, chips with nacho cheese sauce, and a medium fountain drink.

“Chicken Bacon Ranch is a flavor that people instantly recognize and love,” said Liz Matthews, Global Chief Food Innovation Officer at Taco Bell. “By pairing it with our Street Chalupas… we’re giving this iconic combo a new platform to shine in a way that’s unmistakably Taco Bell.”

Deals & Promotions

Taco Bell is heavily leaning into its digital channels to promote the new launch:

  • App Rewards: New Taco Bell Rewards members who sign up in the app between February 19 and March 18 will receive a free welcome reward featuring the Chicken Bacon Ranch Street Chalupas.
  • Grubhub Deal: From February 26 to March 4, diners using Grubhub can get $5 off orders of $20+ when they add the Chicken Bacon Ranch Nacho Fries to their cart.

The advertising campaign for the launch also features global Latin Music powerhouse Myke Towers, whose hit song “SUNBLOCK” serves as the soundtrack for the new television spots.

Why It Matters

This menu update showcases Taco Bell’s current strategy of “remixing” its existing pantry ingredients into new, highly craveable formats.

  1. The Power of Ranch: Chicken, bacon, and ranch is a universally beloved flavor trio in America, often associated with pub food or pizza. Adapting it to a Mexican-inspired format broadens Taco Bell’s appeal to comfort-food seekers.
  2. Platform Expansion: By officially releasing the “third flavor iteration” of the Street Chalupas, Taco Bell is proving that this smaller, double-shell format is no longer just a one-off LTO, but a permanent canvas for future flavor experiments.
  3. Value Focus: The $9 Discovery Luxe Box is a strategic move to maintain a strong value proposition. Getting two premium chalupas, a burrito, a side, and a drink for under $10 is designed to keep cost-conscious consumers coming back.

What’s New

While the Chicken Bacon Ranch Street Chalupas represent a brilliant tactical play to dominate the premium chicken and street-food inspired categories, this launch is just one component of a much larger, highly aggressive R&D pipeline.
