Teremana Tequila’s $1M ‘Guac on the Rock’ Campaign Returns

Teremana Tequila, founded by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, has launched its fifth annual Guac on the Rock campaign, and this time, it’s not just about guac. From May 1 to May 31, patrons can get $10 back on any appetizer when they buy a Teremana cocktail at participating restaurants—or even via DoorDash. With up to $1 million in reimbursements, this feel-good campaign supports hospitality while encouraging food lovers to celebrate with tequila, takeout, or tacos. Cinco de Mayo just got a lot tastier—and more accessible.

Don’t just sip—snack smart

This year’s Guac on the Rock is Teremana’s most generous yet. Instead of only covering guacamole, the campaign now covers any appetizer. Whether you’re out at your local bar or ordering from your couch, you can enjoy your apps and get rewarded.

Here’s how it works:

  • Buy any Teremana Tequila cocktail at a bar or restaurant.
  • Order any appetizer alongside it (yes, even mozzarella sticks).
  • Snap a photo of the itemized receipt and upload it to guacontherock.com.
  • Receive $10 back via Venmo, capped at $1 million nationwide.

Receipts must be submitted by June 5, and yes—you must be 21+ to join the fiesta.

Either way, you win

This year marks the first time Guac on the Rock expands into delivery, thanks to a partnership with DoorDash. From May 1–12, customers in select states can get a $10 DoorDash gift card when purchasing a 750ml+ bottle of Teremana from a participating retail location on DoorDash. That gift card? Yours to spend on apps. Participating states include: CA, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, NY, OH, OR, DC.
