A Hero’s choice: Tom Holland launches non-alcoholic beer!

As more health-conscious choices keep shaping the market, Spider-man himself introduces a refreshing and high quality non-alcoholic beer, after two years of sobriety. This reflects a growing demand for a wider variety of options when it comes to drinks. CEO John Herman and actor Tom Holland join forces to create a London-born and American crafted alcohol-free beer. Targeted at people “who appreciate quality, craftsmanship and living life to the fullest” says Holland in a statement, “BERO delivers the taste and experience of a great brew, and never asks you to settle for less.” 

A growing market

Beer is always in high demand. Cracking open a cold one with friends, family, at any type of social event really, is a year-round venture. Non-alcoholic beers were once seen as an option only for alcoholics. Today, in a society where health matters, more people seem to opt for a clean life without giving up the good times in social settings. Gen Z’s in particular, have pioneered as the generation that implemented a sober conscious movement, due to the current understanding of the long-term effects of alcohol in your body. This has had a huge impact on the industry, prompting many major companies to enter this booming sober market. Take, for example, the Heineken 00 x F1 collab. 

It has changed, for the better

Statistics show Americans are drinking way less than they used to which opens new opportunities for companies to provide what consumers are asking for. Back then, when you thought of sober beers, the taste and quality was often compromised. Today, high quality craftsmanship and ingredients are the main driving forces for producers. There’s no reason why you should compromise taste in order to be healthy. “In a world of excess, Bero represents a shift toward discernment. A personal journey

For Holland, this was a personal journey that started in January 2022, as he tells Jimmy Fallon. He realized he had an issue and needed to change it immediately. What started as a “Dry January” challenge, ended up in a lifestyle choice that led up to a new business venture. Today, BERO is being distributed among restaurants and bars all across New York City and LA with nationwide availability. 

Inspired by the actor’s hometown, BERO has 3 kinds of beer:

  • Noon Wheat
  • Kingston Golden Pils
  • Hill Hazy IPA
