Source86 supplies food-grade sea salt (sodium chloride, CAS 7647-14-5) recovered by solar evaporation of seawater and by vacuum drying of purified brine, meeting Food Chemicals Codex and Codex Standard 150-1985. The range covers coarse crystal, crystal and granular, fine, and flake grades, plain or iodized, at 99.0 percent minimum sodium chloride on refined white material and 97.0 percent minimum on unrefined crystal.
Grade selection is driven by dissolution speed and particle match rather than by identity, since the underlying material is consistent across the range. Supply is drawn from solar fields and refineries in Pakistan, the United Kingdom, Italy, India, and Chile, with sieve analysis and assay issued by lot against the purchased specification. Source86 works with operations in Pakistan, the United Kingdom, Italy, India, and Chile, spanning solar-harvested and refined material. Where a grade needs moisture at or below 0.10%, material is vacuum dried from purified brine rather than solar harvested.

2. Solar Concentration: Seawater passes through shallow ponds where wind and sun raise brine density in stages.
3. Crystallization and Harvest: Salt builds on the crystallizer floor through the dry season, then is harvested and drained.
